A large 24" (61 cm) diameter solid-steel grinding flywheel, 3/4" (19 mm) thick, with 34 tungsten carbide cutting teeth laid out in a sequential pattern for smooth cuts.

A Go/No-Go visual indicator lets you see the angle of the stump grinder from the seat of the tractor, so you can maintain the best working range for your tractor speed.

Chain-Equipped Chip Deflector
The chain-equipped chip deflector is designed to keep chips close to the work area instead of scattering them across the yard, so cleanup is a rake job, not a project.

Quick Hitch Compatible
A 3-point hitch with Category 1 holes and pins that is quick hitch compatible, making hookups faster and easier. Mounts to Category 1 or 2 three-point hitches.

Integrated Support Legs

What kind of tractor do I need?
The WG24 PRO is built for tractors with 15 to 45 HP at the PTO and a 540 RPM PTO shaft. It works best on tractors with a PTO that is independent of the transmission drive system, because the tractor pulls the grinder through the stump and you need to control ground speed separately from PTO speed. Operating at 540 RPM is required.
How deep does it grind?
The WG24 PRO grinds up to 6" (15 cm) below grade, which clears the stump and the upper root plate so you can grade, seed or replant over top of it.
Will it fit my hitch?
It mounts to a 3-point hitch with Category 1 holes and pins and fits Category 1 or 2 tractors. It is also compatible with a Cat 1 quick hitch, such as the QA10, if you want faster hookups.
Is the PTO shaft included?
Yes. A slip clutch style PTO shaft is included with the machine. The slip clutch protects your tractor's driveline if the flywheel hits something it shouldn't.
How is it different from the standard WG24?
Same 24" flywheel, same 34 carbide teeth, same 6" grinding depth. The PRO adds the patent-pending shock absorption system, the Go/No-Go visual indicator, the chain-equipped chip deflector and the adjustable nylon-slide chainsaw holder.
What about the teeth — do they wear out?
The 34 teeth are bolt-in tungsten carbide steel, so they are replaceable individually. Teeth are wearing parts and are sold in sets of 6. Most owners keep a set or two on the shelf.
How does it ship?
Shipping is free. Shipping weight is 533 lb (241 kg) and the machine ships by transport truck. The carrier contacts you in advance to schedule a curbside delivery with a power liftgate. Remote and rural addresses may carry additional cost — we review that with you before shipment.
